child safety standards
Effective 13 October 2026
Odds Are has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming and any sexualisation of minors. Any account involved is deleted, and we report it to the relevant authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and local law enforcement.
How the app is built to protect children
- No free-text messages, pictures or files. In online games players can only send preset messages like "good luck!" or "well played".
- No searching for players. Players can only become friends through an invite key one of them shares, and the other must accept.
- No personal profiles. Nicknames are made from two words picked by the app, and avatars come from the app's own set. Players can't upload photos or write bios.
- Under-13s can't play random opponents, and a parent's email is used to keep their account safe.
- Birth years and emails are never shown to other players.
Report a concern
If you see anything that might put a child at risk, email support@oddsare.link with the subject "Child safety" and the player's nickname. Child safety reports are handled first, within 24 hours. If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police first.
